sculpture, ink drawings, digital image
Patrick Hurst makes both large and small scale abstract artwork for both interior and exterior spaces. Practicing in rural Hertfordshire, Patrick Hurst graduated with a BA in Fine Art from Cardiff School of Art and Design in 2011. It was here that he found his passion for sculpture.
Hurst has exhibited at the Chelsea Flower Show, Sculptural 2015, NordArt at the Kunstwerk Carlshütte in Germany and numerous other group shows both internationally and across the UK.
In a new direction to his work contrasting the highly fabricated and predesigned sculptures Patrick is exploring a more experimental and medium driven technique of ink on paper and a complimenting series on digital images.
He has an upcoming group show "Papercuts" curated by Kristian Day at the Saatchi in November.
