Soumisha has always been attracted by experimentation as well as formal and informal interrogations about painting. Her paintings intermingle several references from heterogeneous fields. The encounter of differences being her everlasting inspiration.
Since 1990, the artist has developed a process enabling her to paint in an dissociated way. She cuts fragments and pieces of paintings made at different times, brings them together, and connect those "painter’s temporalities and territories"to offer unexpected encounters.
