Calgary, Alberta, Canada
Laura Erdman’s drawings, paintings, and mixed media pieces aim to share the beauty she experiences in the world through visual poetry; fluid, colorful images of body and the natural world. Her images are an exploration of the human condition as an individual, as a body in place, and as a part of the human collective.
Laura was born in 1980 in Lethbridge, Alberta where she studied art and ecology along the soft folds of the grassland. She now lives and practices in Calgary, Alberta where she finds inspiration and a feeling of home among the branches of the Bow River valley.
