Digital Residencies

Take a look through artwork from our past digital residencies, Art for Advent, Ten days of Art and Word.

Word Art

Issue Six | May/June 2019

From the 15th-20th May Murze held an artist lead project - Word. Each day artist created work using a predetermined word as a starting point. The words were used as a starting point, the work did not need to be representative of the work, merely the initial thought process be considered. The five words Conjecture, Urban, Wilderness, Aray and Reflection were used to break down barriers and preconceptions formed from the artists different backgrounds and working methods.

Ten Days of Art

Issue Five | March/April 2019

With this ten days artist residency we asked artists to submit work each day reflecting their everyday practice, we were looking to see documentation of the artists progress, working environments and of course finished pieces. This process went through from the 1st-10th March, we received some brilliant pieces, and as a digital exhibit of the artists work the feedback was excellent.
