ART FILM OPEN CALL
This is an open call for both current and emerging artists and filmmakers, with the theme ART FILM we are inviting you to submit a short film based on your current practice, there are no limitations to this, your work could be abstract, social or political and the list goes on… We also welcome artists creating work based on life in lockdown, through this challenging time it has been amazing to see so much documentation of events from all around the globe.
Artist and Film-maker Charlotte Prodger won the 2018 Turner Prize with her film, ‘Bridget’, created entirely on an iPhone. This is a demonstration of how we are all capable of utilizing this medium to create work that is both inspiring and engaging. We invite you to explore the capabilities of your smartphone if you are approaching this project as an amature filmaker. Selected artists will see their work featured on murze.org, we will also be inviting a selection of artists to discuss their practice as a part of issue thirteen.
